[updated] IRCCS II Conference: New Deadlines Announced
The Second International Research Conference on Christian Studies (IRCCS II), scheduled for February 2024, has updated its deadlines. The conference, hosted by the University of Jaffna in collaboration with the Asian Network for Public Theology, aims to address the role of Asian Christianity in the public sphere.
Historically, Christianity in Asia has played a pivotal role in promoting civil rights, public awareness, and support for marginalized communities. The revised deadlines include proposal submission by October 30, 2023, with paper acceptance notifications by November 15, 2023. The conference will explore themes related to public theology in Asia, fostering discussions on the common good, historical and contemporary relevance, social teachings, interfaith dialogue, and more.
